Products covered under G Mark schemes are 12 categories or household products and plugs/adapter. Nemko is the accredited G Mark certification body.

Nemko as Notified body for the GCC region

Being a self-owned private foundation, Nemko is a fully independent third-party certification organization without any commercial interests in products or manufacturers assessed. The independence applies to all in the organization, including the top-level management as well as the personnel involved in conformity assessment. The personnel have signed a declaration of independence and are not involved in any consultancy service. The remuneration of the personnel is not depending on the number of projects handled or the outcome of these. The Nemko personnel has likewise signed a declaration of professional secrecy.

Nemko is accredited by an ILAC member body (in Norway Norwegian Accreditation) according to ISO/IEC 17025 for testing, ISO/IEC 17065 for product certification and ISO/IEC 17021 for management system certification.
